     With the issue of world hunger demanding attention, it is not often thought to be a problem in the United States. Although aid is available, there are still families without dinner on the table every night in Los Angeles. Efforts from community based organizations supplement government assistance and reach the people on a street level. One such organization is Los Angeles based non-profit, Dreamcenter. The Dreamcenter runs a food truck that delivers donated groceries to over 40,000 residents at 28 locations all over the inner city area.
